PLS-Trident Stock Management System

Our flagship product is a powerful and comprehensive system, easy to use while boasting a rich feature set. It allows you to define your storage locations, suppliers and products, book in received stock, book out used stock, record disposal or transfer of items, generate barcodes and much more. With full financial tracking, audit trail and a wealth of reports, there are no other solutions on the Microsoft Windows platform to match it.

The system comes with an optional hand-held barcode terminal too, which can be used to book stock in or out and carry out stock takes in the field.

Originally developed in 2000 for the clinical pathology market, PLS-Trident has been amended and improved continuously ever since.

Why have computerised stock management?

The three major benefits of electronic stock management are cost contol, quality control and traceability.

Users have record of when stock was received, used or disposed of. Warnings are raised when stock is low or due to expire. A historical record of stock levels over time will indicate whether too much or too little stock is being held.

Who is it for?

The system is designed primarily for use in laboratories, where it is essential to keep track of received stock, expiry dates and lot numbers.

It can be installed on a single standalone PC, or a large corporate network. The size of an installation (ie: the amount of stock it can manage) is limited only by the network and server hardware. Click here to view the technical specifications and requirements.
